Frequently asked questions

What are plantable seeded cards?
They are cards embedded with seeds which can be planted after use to grow flowers or herbs. They are 100% biodegradable and are a sustainable alternative to traditional greeting cards.

How do I plant my card?
Soak in water until paper is soft, then plant in healthy soil, keep moist, and expect to see germination in the soil within 7-21 days.

What types of seeds are used in the greeting cards?
Swan river daisies, lemon-scented bottlebrush, and poppies. Please check the ‘description’ for each product.

Where are my cards made?
100% Australian made including design and print. Any materials are sourced from Australian suppliers.

What type of ink is used for printing?
Water-based ink is used to print our designs onto the seeded paper.

Are your products environmentally friendly in other ways?
Yes. The seeded paper we source uses recycled paper and, even if you do not plant your card, it is completely biodegradable and will eventually break down in the compost or bin. We only use water-based ink from recyclable bottles. The envelopes we provide for your greeting card are made from 100% recycled paper. The packaging we post your products to you in is 100% compositable material. You will be left with no paper waste.

Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship to Australia. If you are based in another country and would like to purchase a product, please contact us so we can discuss how we might be able to help you. As the business grows, we intend to add more countries to this list.

Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, if you are not satisfied with your blooms after planting, we offer a 60-day guarantee. Given the unique nature of the product, your bloom will need to have been planted in healthy soil and kept moist for at least 30 days for the 60-day guarantee to apply. The guarantee will expire 60 days after you purchased the product.
